Online Functions - Stock Quotes
Allows to update automatically through Internet the stock quotes or market indexes into
your Excel spreadsheets. No more manual and tedious updates or risk of using no updated
data.
This add-in is like any other Excel function. When the function is inserted in any cell
or inside a formula, the add-in automatically refreshes the stock quotes or market indexes
with the latest data.
The add-in includes a wizard to help you to use the tool. Additionally it includes
different refreshing data options and reports with the stock quotes and market indexes
used.
Functions
Stock Quotes Wizard
| The Stock Quotes Wizard
helps you in the construction of the Stock Quotes function. To use it
follow these steps: |
- Select an empty cell and press the Stock Quotes Wizard button
 .
- Insert the Company Symbol that you want to use.
- Select the type of data you want to obtain.
- Select a cell in that you want to paste the function.
- Click in Insert button and the function will paste in the selected cell.

- All the companies symbols inserted
are saved in the Companies List of the Stock Quotes report. If you want to insert them
after you use the Stock Quotes Wizard, check the "Update companies list at the
end" option.
- If you want to update the data of the
companies symbols inserted after you use the Stock Quotes Wizard, check the "Update
data at the end" option.
- Also you could do the same
automatically or manually using the Refresh Settings button.
Use Refresh Settings* to setup the refresh data periods of the stock
quotes and market indexes used. You could determine the refresh data as a manual option
(you need to use Refresh Data each time you want to do it) or automatic option (select the
minutes and the add-in refresh data automatically). To do it press  . Your PC needs to be connected to Internet.
Also you could configure the Update Companies List option. You could add only the used
companies with the Stock Quotes function in your MS Excel sheet in this moment or all the
companies (used or not used in your MS Excel sheet in this moment).
*The stock quotes and market indexes data is obtained from the MSN
MoneyCentral Investor web site (http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor/home.asp).
The quotes are delayed by at least 20 minutes. |

Market Indexes Wizard
| The Market Indexes Wizard
helps you in the construction of the Stock Quotes function. To use it
follow these steps: |
- Select an empty cell and press the Market Indexes Wizard button
 .
- Select the type of Index.
- Insert the Market Index that you want
to use or select it from the list.
- Select the type of data you want to
obtain.
- Select a cell in that you want to
paste the function.
- Click in Insert button and the
function will paste in the selected cell.

Insert
Latest Refresh (Date & Time)
Use Insert latest refresh (date and time) to insert the latest date
and time in which the functions has been refreshed. Select a cell in your worksheet and
press
